Disinfection & Treatment

Water Treatment Technology

The WaterFresh process kills pathogens right at the beginning of the treatment cycle to make the effluent safe for further treatment and handling using a patented sonic disintegrator. The disintegrator uses high shear and high compression fluctuations combined with sonics to destroy pathogens.

Depending on the end user requirement the water is processed further to remove the solids and other soluble waste products. For potable use the water is put through a final ultra filtration process.

Solid matters which are removed can be either used or sold as slow release fertiliser.

A WaterFresh plant can treat water at ½ litre per second, 1 litre per second or 3 litres per second. Because of its modular design a WaterFresh plant is future proof - additional modules can be added as demand increases.

Because a WaterFresh plant does not depend on biological process to treat the effluent it can be operated either continuously or in batch mode.
